Pve Progress

Basic things

Now we have probably arrived at the topic that most people want to know the answer to.
What setup should you use for the fastest progress?
Unfortunately, the answer is that no one will ever be able to give you a perfect answer to this question, as the strength of your character, and within that, individual stats, can vary greatly.
Let’s look at an example:
I play with archer (plume monarch) and use cat avian at the moment, which I will change to michelle later.
I’ll try to share with you how I progressed, what skils and pals I used, etc. until I reached my current level.
But! If you don’t play cat avian, then my setup will already be meaningless to you, as I play full cdr and cc build.
You just have to accept that there is no perfect solution for pve progress. It takes a lot of testing to find the right balance, both in your character composition like avian, star array, skill, pals, etc. Also skill timing can vary, but I try to give you many options that may work if you are at that level.

Before we get into the many skill and pal sets, let’s first look at the relic, star array and other things.

Star array

Since I don’t have nearly all ssr yet, I’ll show you here what I’m currently using, I fight with 2 different setups, always testing which one works better for the stage.
With star array it’s important to consider the type of passive abilities. There are 3 types, active/defensive/passive. When building your Star arrey team make sure you use the right ones. Each star arrey has a description of what ability it activates for.

Soul

For souls most people upgrade each soul differently, I upgrade them all the same (except counter dmg) as their upgrade cost increases drastically and if I don’t upgrade them the same I simply lose stats with it.

Gear

My primary goal is to find crit + combo items, since those are the stats I need. What else can help is evasion, so crit + evasion / combo + evasion isn’t bad either.

Back Accessory

Upgrade
I upgrade everything equally so I don’t fail stats.

Talent
I tried all kinds of talents, but offensive talent worked best for me. I can’t write too much about it, it’s pretty linear, follow it as the upgrades allow you to.

I will change to attack side once I’ve got enough talent points.

Artifact Enchant

Pretty complicated features, can give a lot of different bonuses, but the one I would highlight is the launch. You can only get launch from here, and it is very useful in pve progress because of the cc. If you have the option always use a rune that includes launch, because it gives out a lot of cc and you have more time to dmg.

Prayer statue

Well, as most guides mention 5x global combo dmg is the most effective.
In pve progression, boss dmg would be much better, but since you won’t be able to build 2 sets until SSS tier, stick to global combo until then, since boss dmg won’t help you in any pvp events.
If you have the 5 SSS global combo, you will probably still be missing a lot of fruit to reach statue level 9 and unlock the SSS+ tier. Here you can build a boss dmg as a second set and continue pve progress with that.

I won’t go into tech upgrades specifically, it’s completely linear, upgrade the right side first which gives you bonuses in mine and afk reward, then upgrade the left side which gives you stats.

Relic

I use 9 of the relic, in fact I only switch between two depending on my offense/defensive setup.
Which I switch between:
3 sec dmg immunity / +20% boss dmg
Extend disarm, stun duration / Extend worldly snare, hundred slash duration

Attribute details

I’ll share this as well in case it helps someone in some way, but obviously it’s constantly changing.

Let the skill and pal sets and timings begin.

To make it more transparent, let’s break up the 10 stats that always repeat into 3 parts.

Category 1: Boss 1-2 (Slime, Snake) high dmg, low hp, melee
All the setups you will see will definitely include slow for these 2 bosses

Category 2: Boss 3-8 (Dragon, Golem, Witch, Wizard+Dragon, Wizard+Cleopatra?, Monkey) high dmg, medium hp, ranged
No one of the setups will include a slow that applies to this

Category 3: Boss 9-10 (Crocodile, Diver?) low dmg, high hp, melee
It will include slow setups, and without slow and you’ll also see setups where I start with the stun and not the disarm, those setups will be related to this

When I have enough time, I’ll break down the skills and pals into bosses even more, until then you’ll have to interpret them like this.

The order of skills and pals is found as you progress through the game.
I would add that from relic, boss dmg and dmg immunity may alternate, I will not put them separately next to each setup. Generally speaking I used boss dmg early in the game, as I progressed I switched to dmg immunity.
I use dissarm and stun extends all the time.
(Preempting questions, I don’t use Blitz Assault because you can only delay for 10 sec, and it doesn’t work well with Blitz Assault, I’ve tried everything.)

The class skill won’t be visible in the skill sets, but I’ve edited it in a image here so you can see what it is. You can imagine this one there, the timer for this one will be there for every setup.
